Mixer turning, eggs beating, butter melting, sugar and flour EVERYWHERE! The sweet aroma swirling from the oven, the sound of the timer, and lastly the ooooos and aahhhs from those who anticipate the pleasure of enjoying this melt in your mouth treat bring me absolute joy!

My love for baking started at a young age as my grandmother would make her award winning RED VELVET CAKE. THIS CAKE was specifically designed for her to make LOL. She was my inspiration for baking. I love old-fashioned recipes that create moments to enjoy!
