Relationships is one of Gods first designs. He spoke into the earth and called it good (Genesis 1: 26-27). Let’s face truth… none of us would be here without relationship!
1. God our creator: spiritually
2. Through man and woman: physically.
I know and experienced relationships that are meant to be, some that are good for a season, and others I wish I never met them! But as a believer, I understand that relationship is important to God, so we must make it important to us.
Proximity requires sacrifice!
- Time
- money
- labor
- conversation
- affection
- trust
- care
- attention
- understanding
Prioritizing these over other things will add value, build balance, and give space for the relationship to grow. This journey will come with its ups and downs, but are worth fighting for.
You can be as close to God as you choose just know He is waiting on YOU not the perfection of you. Perfection chooses… HOWEVER proximity abandons the need to be perfect and seek Jesus Christ who is perfection!
