Psalms 37:4 encourages us to take delight in the Lord. However, as believers, we often find ourselves being tempted by other desires that are contrary to this instruction. Despite the challenges posed by distractions, deadlines, commitments, and responsibilities, we have the ability to subdue our flesh and find delight in God.
Devotion
Expand our desires with devotion.
- Devotion is a spiritual resting place where you take intentional time to invest into what you value as priority in your life. This may appear as a religious act, but it’s far from it. Religion is so people will see devotion is what God will honor.

Daily Lifestyle
Expose our desires as a daily lifestyle.
- Our daily habits shape what we believe.
- Often times your actions will speak louder than your words. Matthew 5:16 says it best.
- Your lifestyle is a preview of the real you.
Decisions
Expect our desires to support our decisions.
- Every day is full of them! They are building blocks to our destiny.
- Big or small decisions, set boundaries to what we allow or limit ourselves to.
- Every decision votes you closer to purpose or pity, life or death joy or sorrow, courage or cycles, faith or fear.
