In the words of Destiny’s Child can you PAY MY BILLS?!?! Let’s face it bills are a constant expense that never goes away. Keep reading as I give you some tips on how to save or even lower these expenses and put more money in your pocket!!

  • GAS SAVINGS
    • click HERE to download UPSIDE to save on gas purchases
    • fill up at wholesale clubs such as Costco, Sams, or BJs
  • CELL PHONE SAVINGS
    • employer/ student discounts: call to see if you qualify
    • automated payments: mine saves $5 per month
    • upgraded plan: call to see if another plan is available at at lower rate than you currently pay
  • CAR INSURANCE SAVINGS
    • bill payments: pay your premium as a whole this saves me at least $200, monthly charges make your policy more expensive
    • billing activity: try paperless billing or automated payments for additional savings
    • discounts: student discounts, alarm features, or any car security will add additional monthly savings to your policy
  • LIGHT BILL SAVINGS
    • buy energy saving light bulbs
    • unplug any unmajor appliances (toaster, unused plugs they still some pull)
    • call your company provider to see if they have energy savings programs you can qualify for
